3: Get a fire pit
You can bring an above ground fire pit into the yard that you can use to roast marshmallows and hot dogs with the kids. The fire pit is something that can help you to create a fun outdoor space at night.
4: Get plenty of comfy outdoor furniture
You don't also want to have furniture for the patio, but you should also get some nice furniture for the yard, for those times when you want to be even more out in nature. You can also find some great chairs to put around the fire pit. Some types of furniture you should think about getting include great chairs for the various spaces where you would want to sit. Also, you should think about getting an outdoor dining set, so you have a great place to enjoy those tasty barbecued meals and the snacks made over the fire pit. You may also want to get some end tables that go outside and can set next to the chairs, so everyone will have a nice space to keep their drinks and any other items they bring with them when they go out to the yard.
